Escondido Motorcycle Accident – 23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies After Crash With Pickup Truck in Escondido

A 23-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash involving a pickup truck in Escondido, California, on Friday afternoon.

According to authorities, officers with the Escondido Police Department responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and Daisy Street at approximately 4:10 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived, they found the motorcyclist suffering from critical injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene following the collision and cooperated with investigators. She was also transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police said that, based on their initial investigation, alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been contributing factors in the crash.
